Tuesday, March 6:

A presentation entitled Newnan: Entrepreneurial Friendly City was made by Hasco Craver IV, the Assistant City Manager for the City of Newnan.

From 2000-2008, Coweta experienced huge growth, but reality set in from 2007-2009 as we experienced the Great Recession along with the rest of the nation. Out of that, Newnan decided to get serious and be intentional with economic development.

Thus, in 2009, Newnan began managed economic development and took the steps to create the business development department.

Our motto is simple. "If I can show someone that success has happened over long periods of time, it speaks for itself. We retain first. We recruit second."
